The tree shows the straight line ancestry from the current oldest known HOPPER to my youngest son.
The Hoppers came from Tonge, a village just east of Sittingbourne in Kent where they were based from the late 1700s through to their move into Stockbury in the 1890s. Like so many in the area, they were agricultural labourers throughout.
